“Jacquelyn was an absolute pleasure to work with. I'm normally awkward in front of a camera, but she was super helpful and friendly and made me feel comfortable enough to look my best for the pictures. Well worth the time spent!”

I want you to have exactly what you expect and will always be open and honest about everything from the smallest details to the schedule to the price. If you need a custom package, contact me and we will work it out!

“Don’t shoot what it looks like. Shoot what it feels like.”

— David Alan Harvey

What does the booking process look like?

Once you have contacted me expressing interest, we will either have a phone call, video chat, or in-person meeting where I can figure out exactly what it is that you want and need. If you decide that you do want to book with me, I will send you a contract and an invoice asking for a deposit of 50% of the total package price. Once the contract is signed and the payment received, we're all done with the booking process!

Why do I have to pay a deposit?

A 50% deposit reserves your date with me, so that no one else can book me at that time! If you cancel last minute, I most likely would have been able to book someone else during that time period. So, the deposit guarantees you on my schedule!

How/When will I receive the images?

For weddings, I will deliver your images within 2-5 weeks of your wedding day, with a preview sent to you before the final gallery. Other types of sessions typically receive the gallery within 1-3 weeks of the session day. All galleries are delivered through my website and can be accessed directly from there. I also always send an email with directions and a direct link to the gallery straight to your inbox.

Do I get to select the images?

Yes and no. Before the session, we will decide on the number of images you receive in your gallery with the option to purchase additional images. Part of my job is making the image selects and choosing the most flattering photographs. The images I do not deliver are either repeats, blurry, or out of focus, shots of you blinking or mid-sentence speaking. I have no reason to withhold any images if there are additional ones I think you would enjoy!

Can I extend the session on the day of?

Of course! I totally understand when things are going really well and you want to make sure that you don't miss out on any great pictures. I always have a card reader on me, so payment can be taken care of immediately and you don't have to wait around for an invoice.

Do you shoot destination weddings?

Yes, I love traveling for shoots! Packages for destination weddings are quite different than the ones explained on the Wedding Pricing page, so contact me for details!

What kind of gear do you use?

I use a Nikon D7500 camera body for all of my shoots. The lens I use depends on the type of booking and the environment I am in. I bring additional equipment as needed.

Do I have to order prints through you?

No. Because I offer unlimited downloads in every package, you can take your photos wherever you want to have them printed. However, I recommend you do go through me for prints because I can guarantee the quality of the lab used to be of the highest standards.

Do you offer stationary?

I do offer custom designs for save the dates, announcements, invitations, thank you and holiday cards, and more. Each design is $25 each and you can then print them out yourself or go through me to have them printed.

Will you retouch (Photoshop) my images?

No, I do not retouch or majorly alter my client’s appearance. I may soften the skin a little or remove acne, but generally I go for a natural and accurate representation. If this is something you want, an easy solution is to outsource my final images to an editor of my choice with the addition of their fee.

What if we don’t want the images used on your social media, website, or anywhere online?

Please make it clear to me in your initial contact email if this is the case and let me know the reason! The sole way I market my photography services (and how you found me!) is the internet and I rely on sharing my photography to bring in customers. I do offer private galleries that are not open to the public for a fee. There is also a separate fee for not using the images for marketing purposes. You must make this explicitly clear to me before any deposit is made.

What if we are not happy with the final product?

I have never had a client tell me they were unhappy with my services in 4 years of photography. This is because I set clear communication and expectations beforehand. If you have read my FAQ thoroughly, looked extensively through my portfolio, and prepared yourself for your photoshoot by including picking a location you love and an outfit you feel confident in, then this is the best way to ensure you will be happy with the final result. If I have delivered what I promised to you- professional photography services of your package of choice, and you are still not happy with the final outcome, then there is nothing else I can do for you.
